Princeton Regional School's Pre-school Program

Pre-School and Kindergarten Registration

How do new students enroll during the current school year?

For the integrated preschool program, spaces are still available for 2011-12.  If your child is eligible for our integrated preschool program, please register at Johnson Park School or Riverside School.  Registration materials will be available at each elementary school between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Our Kindergarten program is open to new students throughout the school year.  Please contact the elementary school your child will be attending if you have questions about the registration/enrollment process.  To determine which elementary school your child/children will be attending please locate your street address in the District's residency manual.
Who is eligible to register for pre-school in the 2012-13 school year?

To be eligible for pre-school, a child must reach four years of age on or before October 1, 2012.  Our full-day integrated pre-school program has limited spaces available (up to 18 children per classroom).  Per state guidelines for the State's Pre-school Expansion Program, students who are eligible for the free and reduced meals program and students with disabilities are eligible to enroll in the district's pre-school program at no cost.  Other students are required to pay tuition.  The tuition rate for 2012-13 is $9,500.

Who is eligible to register for Kindergarten in the 2012-13 school year?

To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must reach five years of age on or before October 1, 2012.

When will registration be held for the 2012-13 school year?

Initial registration for 2012-13 was held in Feburary 7-9, 2012 at each elementary school.  Any family may register after these dates at the elementary school their child will be attending in the 2012-13 school year.  We will continue to accept registrations for the integrated preschool program until the two classes are full.  As of April 30, 2012 there are still spaces in the integrated preschool classes hosted at Johnson Park and Riverside Schools.
